Who doesn’t love a good art supply store? Flax Art and Design in San Francisco is one of the best and I am proud to announce that Red Handed Rubber Stamps are a new addition to their shelves! Head on over to the stationery department to take a gander at their specially arranged section of mail art and letter writing rubber, featuring RHR!
What an honor to be residing right next to one of my rubber stamp heroes — Leavenworth Jackson! (it totally made my day.) Currently, Flax carries 10 – 12 different designs from the RHR line; they’re the “go to” place in San Francisco if you’re on the hunt for Red Handed items.
I’ve been hard at work over at the Red Handed studio, preparing for this weekend’s SF Zine (pronounced “zeen”) Fest. SFZF2014 will be held in Golden Gate Park at the County Fair Building and I’m looking forward to seeing all of my long-time zinester and small press friends. If you’re interested in all things DIY and/or independently published books/ephemera, I’d encourage you to drop by.
For those who are interested, I will have rubber stamps for sale at my table. RHR designs not currently stocked by Flax will be available. This is a special “one weekend only” opportunity to purchase directly from the source! Supplies are limited, so be sure to stop by early. I’ll be vending under the moniker of Red Letter Day at table #137.
Stampin’ it up in the best possible way —
